Demio is a browser based webinar platform known for a clean attendee room and simple setup for marketers. People look at alternatives when they want to charge for access, run more automated formats, or add AI help building the presentation. WebinarKit is our product, so weigh this list with that in mind. Where we describe a competitor's paid access setup, we link that vendor's own documentation.
Can you sell paid webinars with Demio? Demio's help center says it does not currently have a native paid webinar feature and documents a Zapier workaround (Demio documentation).
Demio Alternatives Ranked
1. WebinarKit (our product)
Paid access is the clearest difference for people leaving Demio. In WebinarKit, you mark a webinar as paid, payment is collected at registration, and the buyer moves straight into confirmation and access. Demio's own help center describes a Zapier based workaround for paid events instead. WebinarKit also adds an AI script and slide builder, AI chat responses, and unlimited attendees with no per attendee fees.
- Paid webinars built in: sale, payment and access happen in the same platform, including premium replays
- AI webinar builder: writes the sales webinar script and slide deck from a website or offer description, with AI avatar presentations available
- AI chat responses, a chat simulator and a chat library for automated and live rooms
- Unlimited funnels, registrants and attendees, with no per attendee fees
- Automated, like-live, just-in-time, instant watch and multi-day formats, plus live webinars through WebinarKit Live
- In-webinar offers, handouts and polls, email and SMS follow up, calendar invites, video hosting and replay pages
- Embeddable forms, pages and watch rooms, multilingual funnels, HighLevel, Zapier and Pabbly integrations, a public API and funnel cloning

Which Alternative Is Right for You?
If You Need Enterprise Scale
Livestorm mirrors Demio's polished UX at enterprise scale.
Moving paid events off a Zapier workaround
A workaround flow for paid Demio events usually involves three pieces: a checkout page in a separate tool, a Zapier step that registers the buyer, and Demio's own confirmation emails. Each piece has its own settings, and a change to one can break the chain, for example a renamed event or an expired connection. Before switching, list every paid event you run and note where the buyer's email moves between tools.
When you rebuild those events in WebinarKit, the checkout is part of the registration step, so the buyer list, confirmation and access live in one place. Recreate the reminder sequence, set up the replay page, and decide whether replays are free for buyers or sold separately as a premium replay. Run one internal test purchase before announcing the first paid session.
Demio users who only run free lead generation webinars may find the move less urgent. In that case the comparison comes down to automated formats, AI help with the deck and script, and how chat is handled when nobody is watching it live.
